When I started volunteering at the Western Cape Equine Trust I had no idea that I would meet the most gentle giant in the world! The last thing I expected was to adopt my very own horse, but when I saw Louis (Big-Loo as I call him) I instantly fell in love with this massive boy, who honestly has the kindest soul which you can see through his big gentle eyes.
He has brought light into my life again! I am so blessed to have this amazing boy, and I am extremely excited to see where our journey takes us especially since he was absolutely bomb proof on his very first outride!
I would like to say a massive thank you to Newton Phillips and Tessa Gilbey for giving me the privilege of having Louis in my life, and for trusting me with this great responsibility as well as for helping me with my first horse! I couldn’t do it without you!
