We couldn’t do what we do at the WCET without the incredible support from our amazing volunteers.

Newton Phillips, our Vice Chairman, dedicates countless hours to our Re-Homing Programme at the Sivalé Stables in Klapmuts. Thanks to his guidance, our volunteers come to the yard to help with the re-homing of our horses. They spend quality time with each horse, starting with groundwork and eventually moving on to riding. Newton makes sure that each horse is developing and progressing before we find it a forever home. We truly can’t thank him enough for the care and dedication he shows daily to ensure the well-being of each horse.

Brittany, mentored by Newton, is gearing up to take the reins. She dedicates her time to the horses and ensures our marketing stays on track.

We’re also very fortunate to have Tessa Gilbey, our WCET Secretary, who goes above and beyond her admin role. She spends extra time helping Newton with the horses – sharing her expertise and love for each one.
